MDF have carried out many community projects in the past and currently, MDF is collaborating with a local NGO Kamiali Foundation Association, supported by UNDP to implement a project in constructing a Resource Centre in Lababia Village, Huon District (Morobe Province), Papua New Guinea. This project contributes to SDG no. 11 on Sustainable cities and communities and the construction of this resource centre will greatly support in the development of local communities in Lababia village through various means that allows the community with the chance to sustainably interact with flora and fauna and to preserve the area's biodiversity. The reserve allows residents and visitors alike an opportunity to engage in village life and wildlife-related experiences and activities and conduct research.

To continue the implementation of this project, MDF and its partners are seeking more stakeholders and potential partners to support the construction and intend to submit this proposal to UNDP. MDF has prepared draft proposal and needs help in reviewing the proposal before submission to its partner. In that regard, MDF urgently requires the support of three online volunteers to undertake this task for a period of 14 days, to edit and provide recommendation to improve the proposal which will be submitted to UNDP to construct a Resource Centre in Lababia Village, Huon District (Morobe Province), Papua New Guinea.

We are seeking the support of three online volunteers that will be assigned with each of the following tasks: - review, edit and provide recommendation only on the draft proposal that is already completed - review and revise the proposal budget - final cross check before submission

All supporting documents will be made available by the contact person from MDF. At the end of the assignment, the online volunteers will receive certificates issued by UNV.

  • Fluent in English
  • Have writing and editing skills
  • Have written a successful proposal in the past
  • Have qualification in arts and communication
  • PhD students are encouraged to apply
