Contract

This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.

CAEPA has completed the development of its strategic plan for 2023-2027. There is need to mobilise resources for the implementation of this plan and fundraising campaigns are one way of mobilising the needed resources. Moving forward, CAEPA will continue to make gains in improving the environmental stewardship and livelihoods of pastoralists and farming communities within North-west and South-West Cameroon. It will build on farmer’s assets and integrate social innovation, improved technologies and collaboration in community-led strategies. CAEPA is rapidly developing its capacity in gender-transformative development and is aware that it cannot successfully address the root causes of poverty and under-development without also addressing the inequality and exclusion of women and girls. All our effects from 2023 – 2027 will contribute to Cameroon’s growth and employment strategy of becoming an emergent economy by 2035. Our work will also be contributing to the achievements of the SDG.

CAEPA is looking for 5 online volunteers to design fundraising campaigns according to different thematic areas within its mandate. Each volunteer will be supported with information by the Director to help design the campaign in a specific thematic area. Communication will be through emails, WhatsApp, skype. The campaigns designed will be uploaded on digital platforms to enable CAEPA raise donations for the implementation of its new strategic plan 2023-2027. The online volunteers will not be asked to submit donation requests on behalf of the organization. At the end, CAEPA in collaboration with Online Volunteering (OV) solution of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme will issue a certificate as a sign of appreciation.

The volunteers should have experience in fundraising and crowdfunding platforms, active social media presence and strong background in development projects.
