You have:

UNCDF is strengthening its communication and visibility across priority programmes in West and Central Africa and beyond. High-quality visual content is critical to engage donors, partners, and stakeholders.

This assignment contributes to improving how UNCDF communicates impact, mobilizes partnerships, and showcases results through clear, consistent and professional visual materials. The volunteer will work closely with the communications team and contribute to ongoing campaigns, publications, and events.

We are looking for 2 Online Volunteers who under the guidance of the Regional Communications Specialist and in close collaboration with the communications team will support us by producing a series of graphic designs for the West and Central African Regional Portfolio. In particular, the Online Volunteers are asked to:

Design social media and branded assets, including infographics, knowledge products, brochures, and presentations (approximately 20 pieces; 1–4 pages for materials and up to 20 slides for presentations)

The design/layout should follow our UNCDF corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the Strategic Communications team at United Nations Capital Development Fund (HQ and regional team) and learn how graphic design supports strategic communication, donor engagement, and the translation of development finance concepts into clear and impactful visual content.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, including experience in designing document layouts and a strong portfolio of previous work. They should demonstrate solid proficiency in graphic design applications and possess good written and verbal communication skills.

A degree in graphic design or a related field is an asset. Experience working with development agencies or international organizations is also an asset.
