MDF has recently carried out a feasibility study to identify water sources in Hela Province, Papua New Guinea. The study provides recommendations for carrying out drilling activities in a specified area on the project site as it will affect the community in the vicinity. The study will contribute to the lives of the community in the project area by providing access to quality water in a reasonable quantity.

As the Study will support in improving the community's livelihood and quality of life, and contribute to the advancement of SDG in PNG, MDF is seeking to collaborate with qualified Online Volunteers with expertise in water quality and GIS mapping to review the Study through this online assignment.

MDF requires the support of three expert Online Volunteers who have background knowledge and experience in water quality control, GIS mapping, community surveys, writing, and editing.

The task requires the Online Volunteer to review, edit, and provide recommendations for improving the water quality project report which was completed by MDF. Specifically, the three volunteers will help support in: a) compilation; b) editing and reviewing; and c) proofreading the final report.

MDF will provide details of the project, and data to ensure the feasibility study report is edited and completed before submission.

The volunteers will receive a certificate of appreciation after the completion of the assignment and will also be issued a reference by MDF when requested.

The candidates must have experience and knowledge in water supply and working experience of over 10 years in water management, water quality, and basic environment conservation knowledge. The volunteers must be willing to work towards completing the task within the timeframe set. PhD students are encouraged to apply.
