You have:

  • HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Business Administration or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
  • Have strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Be experienced in research or project administration.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and data management tools.

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture on behalf of ILRI seeks suitable Nigeria Nationals for the positions below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan.

Position: Research Support Officer – Research Administration

Duration: 6 months’ renewable Location: Ibadan

Closing Date: 23 October 2025

DUTIES:

Research Support

  • Assist in literature reviews, data collection and preliminary analysis.
  • Support preparation of technical reports, presentations, and publications.
  • Maintain research databases and documentation.

Project Coordination

  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and field visits.
  • Liaise with project partners and stakeholders.

Administrative Support

  • Manage correspondence, scheduling and travel logistics.
  • Assist in procurement and financial documentation.
  • Maintain filing systems and records.

Communication & Reporting

  • Draft internal and external communications.
  • Support donor reporting and documentation.
  • Maintain project visibility through newsletters or updates.

Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Business Administration or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
