You have:
- HND/BSC in Agricultural Extension, Business Administration or any other related course of study.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive research information.
- Highly proactive.
- Experience in Research related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work in a diverse research environment.
Position: Research Support Officer (Data Management)
Contract: 2-year renewable contract Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 10 October 2025
DUTIES: Field Research Support
• Assist in implementing research protocols and surveys.
• Conduct field visits for data collection, farmer interviews, and sample gathering.
• Support livestock trials and demonstrations.
Data Management
• Enter and clean data using appropriate software (e.g. Excel, Kobo Toolbox, SPSS).
• Maintain accurate records of field activities and observations.
• Assist in basic data analysis and reporting.
• Develop and manage databases for research and operational data.
• Ensure data quality through validation, cleaning, and standardization processes.
• Support data collection protocols and tools for field and lab activities.
• Provide technical support for data analysis and visualization.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality in line with ILRI policies.
• Train staff and partners on data management best practices and survey.
• Contribute to publications and presentations through data support.
Logistical Support
• Assist in organizing logistics, including transport and materials.
• Support procurement and inventory of field supplies.
Ø Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
