MDF is dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering women in Papua New Guinea. The foundation believes that understanding the psychological and socio-cultural barriers to female empowerment is crucial for creating effective programs and policies.
This research is part of MDF's larger initiative to address gender inequality and support women's participation in community development and decision-making processes. By contributing to this project, you will be helping MDF advance its mission of fostering gender equality and empowering women to become leaders and role models in their communities.
To that end, MDF is seeking Online Volunteer's support that will be a key component of the research project aimed at understanding the psychological foundations of female empowerment. By providing a strong theoretical foundation through a literature review, Online Volunteer will help us to better understand of how empowerment is influenced and developed. This project will also contribute to SDG 5 (Gender Equality).
The Online Volunteer(s) will search and compile relevant peer-reviewed papers and other secondary sources focused on the psychological foundations of female empowerment and social status. The aim is to help curate a literature review for an academic research paper.
Specifically, Online Volunteer(s) will: *Conduct research, summarize findings, and regularly update the project lead via email. *Participate in virtual meetings to discuss progress. *This role is purely online, and Online Volunteer will support the project remotely to collect and present the selected papers.
