We are looking for 5 Online Volunteers with experience in research and have good writing skills who can support selected country offices in Asia Pacific. The task will include the following responsibilities: 1. Support in desk research on development topics and writing articles in English (and sometimes in Vietnamese) - 3 Volunteers will be requested to support in writing articles on development related topics related to Viet Nam. The average estimated workload is roughly 2 – 3 articles (in English and Vietnamese each) over the course of the entire duration. 2. Support in translating/reviewing documents in English and Vietnamese - 2 Volunteers will be requested to support in proofreading short texts in English and Vietnamese and support in brief translation/spell checking as required. The average estimated workload is expected to include roughly reviewing 5-7 documents (these can include blogs, short brochures, texts, etc) over the course of the entire duration.

    UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub supports 24 country offices covering the entire Asia Pacific region. As part of our support to country offices, the team are looking to seek the support of volunteers in providing strategic and timely support to selected country offices on tasks related to research, development and communications.

  • Volunteers: 5 needed

  • 1-5 hours per week / 12 weeks

    Strong research and analytical skills; background and experience in working in the Asia Pacific region is desirable. At present, we are looking for English and Vietnamese speakers who are comfortable in working across both languages.
