MDF intends to target the forest sector to facilitate forest Biomass conservation and shoreline protection, at Kamiali Wildlife Management Area. The project will assist the formation of the Kamiali Wildlife Management Area committee. A research on business plan for management plan will be developed to help the Kamiali Wildlife Management Area Committee sustain their sustainable businesses including fishing, after the grant has ceased.
By addressing both biodiversity and climate action, MDF plans to map and identify changes in forest zones which may have a crucial impact on forest ecosystems and species diversity, in addition to the well-being and livelihood of the populations. This is very relevant in countries such as Papua New Guinea (PNG) where the local residents of reserve land and shoreline areas are highly dependent on forest and coastal related revenue.
In that regard, MDF is looking to collaborate with five Online Volunteers through this assignment, to carry out research on business plan by addressing both biodiversity and climate action. The business plan will be relevant to the general well-being and livelihood of the populace. This business plan mainly will improve human resources affairs and financial affairs, which are very important to our work at MDF.
Previously we invited Online Volunteers to write research proposals, subsequent to that we are now seeking the supports of Online Volunteers who are experts in the business area to help us review the proposals, correct errors or optimize practices, and provide more and better advice for subsequent implementation. Thus, the Online Volunteers are expected to carry out the following tasks: The five online volunteers will have the following role a) Do research and write 500 words Business Plan after communicating with MDF focal contact person b) Edit and provide advice and recommendation c) Review and draw up cash flow diagram d) Help in looking for references and past business plans for benchmarking c) Do grand review of the plan,
