  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 2 years working experience in financial accounting and reconciliation
  • Very good computer skills (Excel, Word) and good understanding in Peoplesoft and JD Edwards
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills

Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of a Reconciliation Analyst is to reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately. This includes reviewing financial records to identify discrepancies and prepare reports detailing the findings and recommend corrective action to prevent future errors.

Main Tasks

The Reconciliation Analyst works with a team under the ICRC Financial Shared Services, that primarily:

  • Performs reconciliation and verification of inventories and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Performs verification and correction of financial system entries in compliance with standard procedures.
  • Participates in the Business Process Design, analysis and updates of workflows/tasks.
  • Implements and ensures respect of financial procedures in all reconciliation activities.
  • Follows up the transactions continuously and provide updates to the management.
  • Proposes ideas towards task and output improvements.
  • Performs other related duties in support of the overall tasks.

Selection Requirements and Profile

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 2 years working experience in financial accounting and reconciliation.
  • Very good computer skills (Excel, Word) and good understanding in Peoplesoft and JD Edwards
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
