You have:
- Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology or another related field is required.
- Ten years of increasingly responsible professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required.
- Required skills include strategic thinking, business acumen, strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, solid knowledge of UN HR policies and benefits and entitlements.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable, knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Contract
This is a P-5 contract. This kind of contract is known as Professional and Director staff. It is normally internationally recruited only. It's a staff contract. It usually requires 10 years of experience, depending on education.

The salary for this job should be between 178,610 USD and 223,839 USD.

We are seeking a visionary Chief of People and Culture to lead strategic workforce transformation in East Jerusalem, State of Palestine. How can you make a difference?
You are accountable for leading and managing a team of HR professionals that implement HR services which enhance the capacity of your clients to deliver on their business goals and objectives. In doing so, you demonstrate the ability to create an environment in which your staff anticipate HR-related needs and develop subsequent plans and solutions that align HR management with business objectives. In addition, this position serves as a key strategic advisor to the leadership of your office in helping spearhead UNICEF’s global HR transformation.
