World Vision is a global relief, development, and advocacy organization that works with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. The position is for M&E management activities of the Global Funds grant with WV SI. The grant activities are carried out to support the implementation of the Malaria and TB control activities of the national strategic plans of the MHMS under the overall management of WV SI as the Principal recipient (PR). The grant is funded by the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria based in Geneva and has a life cycle of every three year and cover the 10 provinces. The position is based in the PMU unit in Central office Honiara.

The Project Manager (PM) for the Global Fund (GF) Malaria/TB program will be responsible for the day-to-day direct implementation of the program. The PM will manage a team made of the Provincial Communicable Disease Coordinators as well as the Community Engagement Coordinator. The PM will work very closely with counterpart TB and Malaria Program staff in the MHMS in Honiara and the provinces. The post holder shall also oversee the general program management of the GF grant working together with COP and supervising the M&E, logistic and admin, Provincial Communicable Disease Coordinators (PCDC) in the 10 provinces. PM will also work closely with the Finance manager of the PMU to monitor and harmonize both programmatic and financial achievement leading high performance and successful burn rate of the funds.
