Assist with timely and efficient purchasing activities to support field operations.
You have:
- 3 months initial contract with a possibility of extension based on operational needs and availability of financial resources.
- Assist in purchasing administrative activities efficiently to help administrators acquire necessary goods and services.
- Coordinate and supervise the delivery of purchased products, verify their receipt and inspection.
- Ensure all purchase requests are correctly prioritized and supported with necessary documentation.
- Update and manage databases and files to ensure information accuracy and accessibility for reporting.
- Apply standard practices for emergency preparedness to assist WFP's rapid response in crises.
- Work with colleagues to ensure purchasing activities align with broader programmatic needs.

PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS (liste indicative et non exhaustive):
1. Effectuer des activités administratives d'achat en temps voulu et de manière efficiente afin d'aider les administrateurs à acquérir les biens et services dont ils auront besoin pour mener les opérations sur le terrain avec efficacité.
2. Regrouper les données et établir et distribuer les documents y afférents, afin de contribuer à la réussite des programmes d'achat et des activités opérationnelles (émission des appels d'offres, évaluations des offres et négociation/attribution des contrats, par exemple) en veillant au respect des procédures standard.
3. Examiner, enregistrer et classer par ordre de priorité les demandes d'achat, en s'assurant que toutes les pièces justificatives ont été communiquées et que les fonds sont disponibles, afin de permettre l'acquisition des biens et des services.
4. Coordonner et superviser la livraison des produits achetés, en vérifiant leur réception et leur inspection et en mettant en œuvre des mesures de suivi pour s'assurer que les produits parviennent jusqu'au Siège et jusqu'aux opérations sur le terrain.
5. Effectuer des recherches et regrouper et présenter les informations dans des formats normalisés, afin de permettre une prise de décisions en connaissance de cause et de communiquer des informations aux parties prenantes de manière harmonisée.
6. Actualiser, gérer et alimenter les bases de données et les fichiers appropriés, afin de s'assurer que les informations sont exactes, structurées et accessibles, et facilitent le respect des exigences en matière d'établissement des rapports.
7. Assurer la liaison avec les collègues pour faire en sorte que les activités d'achat s'inscrivent bien dans les programmes plus vastes et adopter une démarche concertée pour satisfaire les besoins d'assistance.
8. Apporter un soutien technique et/ou affecter des travaux à d'autres membres du personnel d'appui, afin de les aider à mener à bien des tâches courantes dans le respect des normes et des délais convenus.
9. Appliquer les pratiques standard de préparation aux situations d’urgence pour aider le PAM à intervenir rapidement, à acheminer les produits alimentaires et à déployer les ressources nécessaires dans les zones touchées dès le début des crises.
