Provide online coaching to enhance career growth and transition support.
You have:
- At least 2 years' experience in related field, with preferred experience in career development.
- Relevant education in education, pedagogy, psychology, HR or specialized courses.
- Familiarity with the UN working system.
- Familiarity with the Italian labor market.
- Expected to provide one-on-one coaching sessions or small group coaching sessions.

The aim of the project is to create an online coaching program—a series of sessions focused on career development—to support UNHCR professionals in enhancing their career growth and for managing transitions.
The program shall assist the participants by providing a series of tools, career guidance, resources and practical skills designed to improve access to job opportunities both within the Organization and the UN system, as well as in external sectors, including in profit working environments.
Classes: Offer one-on-one coaching sessions and/or small group coaching sessions.
Each online volunteer will be expected to provide support to at least 2 participants.
Interview simulations support: Conducting at least one mock interview session per assigned participant and provide personalized feedback. Offering scenario-based interview practice to enhance specific skills and competencies.
Skills developments: Identifying key skills required for career growth (e.g., project management; leadership and effective communication), devoting up to 2 sessions per participant.
Career exploration: Providing career plan based on own competencies and objectives, devoting up to 2 sessions per participant.
Reviewing and providing feedback on up to 2 CVs/resumes and cover letters per participant.
Facilitating at least 2 job search strategy group sessions with a focus on the local labor market, if requested.
The candidates should be experienced professionals, trainers, coaches, with relevant education (i.e. a degree in education/ pedagogy/ psychology/ HR or specialized courses) and at least 2 years’ experience in related field, with preferred experience in career development.
Familiarity with the UN working system as well as with the Italian labor market will be considered an asset.
