Job Description

The HR Onboarding Manager, as part of the HR Operations team in Human Resources, will lead all aspects of the team responsible for tracking a new employee’s pre-hire process in partnership with Recruiting Associates, HR Partners, HR Focal Points, HR Associates and hiring managers. The Onboarding manager will be responsible for evaluating all pre-hire activities for process and technology improvements and work with HR partners, Compliance, and HR Technology to streamline and improve the candidate and manager experience.

The Onboarding team is a new hire’s main point of contact after accepting an offer and the team leader must be customer service focused striving to make the process easy while ensuring the process is aligned with local labor practices.

Major Responsibilities:

• Ensure Onboarding Associates are proactively engaging with new staff.

• Manage the team’s resource load

• Assess team performance.

• Develop and supervise Onboarding metrics.

• Build standard operating procedures.

• Manage the Onboarding technology backlog and partner with HR IT to prioritize system improvements across multiple platforms (Cornerstone, Box, Form management software)

• Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to align and improve new hire protocols and touch points, and proactively solve any non-standard cases as they arise.

• Partner with HR in country programs to build global onboarding processes and foster a consistent employee experience across locations

• Implement and communicate changes to pre-hire processes effectively to stakeholders.

• Lead vendor and HR audits as required

Job Requirements:

Work Experience:

• Three to five years of experience in human resources, administration, program management, or equivalent skills/experience preferred

• Experience leading teams.

• Experience in a customer service environment

• Experience working with IT teams to implement solutions.

• Project management experience creating project goals, schedules, and status reporting.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to work under limited direction with sound sense of accountability and aim for results

• Customer focused - establishes and maintains long-term customer relations, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations

• A critical thinker who uses their problem-solving skills to build and implement more efficient global processes.

• Compliance focused - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.

• Strong organizational skills to proactively prioritizes needs and effectively manages resources

• Strong interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees and external parties

• An effective communicator

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel a must)

• The ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Working Environment:

Standard office working environment with the ability to work remote 2-3 days per week
