The overall purpose of the M&E Coordinator (Hpa an office) position is to coordinate all aspects of M&E related to projects being implemented in NRC’s South East (SE) Area, consolidate reporting from different Programme Teams and contribute to the overall development of NRC’s SE Myanmar’s M&E Capabilities. The M&E Coordinator will report to Area Programme Manager, with a dotted line to the M&E Manager (Head Office).

Qualifications

The M&E Coordinator has:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an international NGO preferably in an emergency or post-conflict setting, including M&E capacity and systems development
  • Thorough experience with and knowledge of principles and current approaches to monitoring and evaluation in relief and development programs, using both quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Understanding of data and information needs for program management and decision making
  • Experience using PowerBi or another similar program to present and visualize data.
  • High level English language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Analytic and computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

Responsibilities

M&E Coordinator will:

Support and contribute to the development and implementation of M&E systems, including M&E SOPs, guidance and tools.

Support programme staff and area-based M&E staff in planning for and execution of M&E activities.

Supervise and mentor M&E staff in executing M&E plans.

40% of your time will be focusing on Monitoring and Evaluation

20% on Others
