Mapping of professional organizations in 24 countries of West and Central Africa

The UNV Regional Office of West and Central Africa aims to enlarge its talent pool. To do so it is necessary to have an overview of the organizations, specially the CSOs in the region to better collaborate and strengthen the partnership.

We are looking for 6 experienced Online Volunteers who, under the supervision of the UNV regional office will support the mapping of professional organizations (such as lawyers, doctors, nurses, midwives, traders, former students, ...) in French, Portuguese, and English-speaking countries in west and central Africa. More specifically, the Online Volunteer is asked to: - Identify the professional organizations in French, Portuguese, and English-speaking countries - Classify organization according to their category - Create excel sheet with all necessary information (mission, programmes or activities, focal point, contacts, addresses, n. of active members)

Candidates should have in-depth understanding of concept of data collection and experience in conducting qualitative/quantitative data collection and a very good knowledge of the countries in the region. Professional level of verbal and written French, Portuguese or English is required.
