The WHO Country Office supports strategic interventions in early warning, infectious disease control, health education, and laboratory preparedness. To meet these commitments, communication support through social networks and other contemporary communication channels is essential. This communication service supports the operational backbone of ASEF-funded activities, ensuring effective communication, monitoring, documentation and representation of achievements to enable timely and effective responses to public health issues. Social media communication experts are also urgently needed in country offices in response to emergencies. The online Volunteer will support the development, implementation and evaluation of the communications strategy across multiple emergencies and ensure the provision of relevant, timely, credible and accurate health information and advice to target groups in the country. This role also includes presenting WHO's contribution to health systems and outcomes.

Under the delegated authority and supervision of the Country Office Communication Officer, the online Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: A. Social Media - Manage WHO Czechia's social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads) to promote key health messages, campaigns, and initiatives. - Draft and edit compelling, accurate content for 36 social media posts, articles or blogs. - Collaborate with technical teams and partners to gather information, stories, and testimonials. - Ensure all content adheres to WHO communication guidelines and standards. - Create visually appealing 4 graphics, social media visuals, or infographics using tools such as Canva. - Align all graphic materials with WHO branding guidelines and key messaging frameworks. - Create 2 short videos for the purposes of the social media
