Overview

Support the Youth Empowerment Initiative in Indonesia as a liaison.

You have:

• Have graduated from or enrolled in the senior year at an undergraduate degree program in communication, social, political, education, or development-related disciplines.
• Previous experience in liaison or coordination roles, preferably in youth-focused programs.
• Experience in coordinating participants and tracking their participation for the event.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools such as email, video conferencing platforms, and messaging apps.
• Experience managing schedules and logistical arrangements for events or programs.
• Commit to a part-time volunteer schedule, with flexibility for occasional meetings and deadlines.

The Youth Empowerment Initiative in Indonesia aims to invest in and empower young people across the nation, to accelerate the implementation of SDGs. UNDP Indonesia believes that youth can be leaders, who create inclusive and equitable societies free of discrimination. They can make a positive difference by taking on the challenges through social innovation, mobilising their peers and communities, and creating adaptive and innovative solutions. For the Youth Empowerment Initiative in Indonesia, we seek support from 10 Online Volunteers, under the guidance of the Youth Empowerment team. The task will be distributed among Online Volunteers, and are:

• Support in coordinating with participants, providing information and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support in coordinating with speakers, mentors and facilitators, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to effectively support participants.
• Support in compilation of feedback from both participants and mentors/facilitators to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous program enhancement.
• Support in scheduling of sessions and meetings between participants and mentors/facilitators, ensuring smooth logistical arrangements and clear communication.

The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with background information and material needed to support and implement the program. They will not be asked to participate or communicate with external parties of the Youth Empowerment Intiative themselves without the guidance of the Youth Empowerment team.
