Provide language classes to UNAMA staff in Dari and Pashto.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dari Literature, Pashto Literature, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably with NGOs, courses, or international organizations is required.
- Fluency in Dari and Pashto is required.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written) is required.
- TEFL / TESOL certification is considered an asset.

Result of Service
The Language Teacher will provide language classes/training services to UNAMA Staff which will continue to support international staff capacity-building to learn local language (Dari & Pashto).

Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Language Teacher to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with established curriculum guidelines. The key responsibilities include: • Preparing lesson plans and educational materials • Delivering Dari and Pashto language instruction in both practical and academic contexts • Communicating effectively in English (spoken and written) to support instruction and coordination • Conducting progress assessments and monitoring student development • Managing classroom activities and ensuring effective lesson delivery • Preparing and administering tests, examination papers, and exercises • Marking assignments and providing constructive feedback • Maintaining a productive and respectful classroom environment • Assessing and evaluating student performance
Qualifications/special skills
