Overview

Improve quality assurance in eRegistrations systems

You have:

  • First level university degree in IT, business management or related fields.
  • At least 7 years of experience in fields related to IT/software including user experience testing and systems development.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Result of Service The consultant's outputs will contribute to the better and smooth functioning of the eRegistrations system, a tool highly in use by local administrations in beneficiary countries.

Expected duration Contract dates: 09 May to 08 November 2022

Effective working time: 6 months

Duties and Responsibilities In the context of the implementation of the Business Facilitation programming under the supervision of the project coordinator, in liaison with international experts and country counterparts, the consultant will monitor, measure and improve quality assurance in eRegistrations systems. S/he will be entrusted with the following tasks:

- Maintain existing test automation framework; - Cover main functionality with reusable automated tests; - Create modular automated tests for new functionalities; - Test new functionalities and functionality changes before the release; - Log any defects found in a defect tracking system; - Create test automation reports and communicate the results of the automation executions; - Monitor the quality of release procedure and summarize the success and failure to detect errors in functionality before release day.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: First level university degree in IT, business management or related fields. A degree in other fields combined with qualifying years of relevant experience may be accepted. Experience: At least 7 years of experience in the fields related to IT/software including user experience testing and systems development. Experience of work with complex eGovernment systems such as the eRegistrations system is desirable. Language: Fluency in written and spoken English.
