Overview

Contribute to the efficient mapping of the ASYCUDA new platform to regional requirements.

You have:

  • A first university degree, Bachelor, degree in computer science, IT technology, engineering, mathematics or similar area required.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in ICT sector dealing directly with IT programming is required.
  • Work experience in ICT unit of governmental agency or international organisation would be an advantage.
  • Fluency written and oral in English is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the consultant will undertake following duties: - Maintain, upgrade, enhance and support assigned ASYCUDA system components - Support the deployment, configuration and release management of ASYCUDA software components - Create additional features of ASYREC environment - Work on back end extensions of ASYCUDA modules - Work on data exchange and interoperability - Assist ASYCUDA team in testing new modules - Perform other technical tasks as appropriate
