Overview

You have:

  • A first university degree, Bachelor, degree in computer science, IT technology, engineering, mathematics or similar area is required.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in ICT sector dealing directly with IT programming is required.
  • Work experience of work in ICT unit of governmental agency or international organisation would be an advantage.
  • Fluency written and oral in English is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the consultant will undertake following duties: - Implement software enhancements involving databases, workflows, interfaces, business rules and reporting requirements, ensuring consistency with ASYCUDA standards, data integrity, security and operational needs. - Design test scenarios, test data and test bases, analyses results, identifies defects and follows up on corrective actions to ensure that delivered solutions meet agreed functional and technical requirements - Contribute to system monitoring, quality assurance, documentation and knowledge management activities - create additional features of ASYREC environment - Work on extensions of ASYCUDA modules - Test ASYCUDA team new developments - Perform other technical support tasks as appropriate

Qualifications/special skills
