Job description

Are you eager to combine your passion for service excellence and for eLearning with having a tangible positive impact and improving people’s lives? Our vision at atingi is a world in which digital learning is inclusive, accessible, relevant, safe and secure for all. In developing and emerging countries, access to lifelong learning opportunities is scarce and remains a challenge, especially for disadvantaged groups with diverse educational backgrounds. To address this gap, GIZ is implementing the atingi platform, a Moodle based, open-source Learning Management System. For our team in Bonn facing the needs of our Learners and GIZ projects worldwide, Germany, we are looking for a curious, creative service-oriented intern. We offer first-hand experience in Digital Transformation - a highly relevant field in international cooperation and development - an agile work environment in a young and motivated team and the possibility to learn and network in our organisation.

Your tasks

In this role, you will be part of atingi’s Customer Team. This team is responsible for ensuring that learners, educators and GIZ projects get maximum benefit from using our platform. During your internship, you will:

  • Proactively be part of the efforts to help, guide and navigate our learners from all partner countries of BMZ along their individual learning journey from registration to certificate
  • Support a variety of different, multilingual GIZ projects and educators along the end-to-end partner journey, from discovery and onboarding to completing or publishing courses respectively including communication activities
  • Supporting the team in the development, definition, and implementation of CSM processes based on professional advice from a CSM coach
  • Contribute to optimizing our customer facing and internal processes and service offering including the implementation of a new customer success management tool

Your profile

  • We are a motivated and passionate bunch! You work best with us if you are creative, take initiative, if you challenge us with outlandish ideas and show unconditional interest in understanding the target groups of German development cooperation and their challenges in working live
  • We welcome motivated and committed applicants who are studying in the fourth semester or higher in a relevant area and who can demonstrate a strong affinity to and experience in customer relationship management, customer success or sales in the software sector
  • You have first experience in the fields of user experience or user research
  • You have first experience with and great interest in digital learning and the potential that new technologies can have on the digitalization of the education sector
  • You have knowledge or experience in international cooperation / international relations, education or social sciences are an advantage, as is experience in GIZ partner countries
  • You like to work actively and cooperatively in a team in agile processes like Kanban
  • You have a high-level fluency in English and preferably French or Spanish (not below B2/C1)

We pay a monthly stipend of €2.134,52 (gross).
