You have:
- A university degree in public policy, international development, business or public administration, communications, economics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in research, programme or project administration, communications, or a related area is required.
- Experience in supporting programme implementation, including coordination with stakeholders and partners, is desirable.
- Experience supporting ICT for development programmes would be an asset.
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English and Korean is required.

Result of Service
Programme Support • Assist in the implementation of APCICT programmes and activities • Compile and organize programme-related information, including participants, partners, and activity outputs • Support the preparation of programme materials, reports, and presentations • Provide translation or summary of documents and correspondence, as required, to facilitate communication with stakeholders in the Republic of Korea Output: Documentation of programme materials prepared Data and Information Management • Maintain and regularly update an internal data repository for programme records (e.g. participants, partners, activities, and outputs) • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper organization of programme data • Support data compilation for reporting and monitoring purposes Output: Regularly updated internal programme database Communication and Content Support • Assist in updating website content, including news, events, and programme information • Support the maintenance of APCICT’s social media platforms by preparing and posting content • Prepare basic summaries of social media performance, as required Output: Documentation of website and social media content updates Research Support • Conduct background research and information searches to support programme development and reporting • Collect and organize reference materials and data • Prepare brief summaries, tables, or inputs for programme and communication materials Output: Research notes, data tables, or background summaries prepared, as requested Other Support • Provide general administrative and coordination support, as required • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor Completion of ad hoc tasks and assignments, as requested by the supervisor Throughout the contract period Output: Completion of ad hoc tasks and assignments, as requested by the supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities
The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development (APCICT), a regional institute of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), was established on 16 June 2006 in Incheon, Republic of Korea. The Centre’s mandate is to strengthen the human and institutional capacities of the member States and associate members of ESCAP in the use of ICT for achieving socio-economic development goals. To fulfill its mandate, APCICT focuses on three interrelated pillars: training, advisory services, and multi-stakeholder partnerships. To extend the reach of its training programmes, the Centre delivers e-learning courses through an online platform, offering self-paced learning modules based on its capacity-building programmes, including the Academy and WIFI. APCICT seeks to engage a Programme Assistant (Individual Contractor) to provide support for programme implementation, digital content and communication, data management, research, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Qualifications/special skills
A university degree in public policy, international development, business or public administration, communications, economics, or a related field. Relevant experience in research, programme or project administration, communications, or a related area is required. Experience in supporting programme implementation, including coordination with stakeholders and partners, is desirable. Experience supporting ICT for development programmes would be an asset.
Languages
