The Recruitment Center of Expertise (RCoE) in the Division of Human Resources (DHR) plays a leading role in providing content expertise related to recruitment and talent acquisition solutions that are tailored to the business needs of the Organization.

How can you make a difference?

Join our team as Human Resources (HR) Officer and contribute to the development of tools, resources and guidance and delivery of strategic talent acquisition solutions. You will work under the guidance and close supervision of the HR Manager and assist the RCOE with the following:

  • Develop guidelines, tools and resources to support implementation of UNICEF’s forthcoming revised Staff Selection Policy
  • Design webinars and training materials on recruitment and selection topics
  • Conduct research on tools, make recommendations and collaborate with relevant teams in DHR on acquisition of tools to support recruitment
  • Provide inputs and feedback on the establishment and improvement of HR systems, policies and processes
  • Collect, interpret and analyze HR data to help inform decision making on HR processes and strategies
  • Keep abreast, research, benchmark cutting-edge practices in talent acquisition and talent management by contributing to the development of global policies, procedures and introduce innovation through sharing of best practices
  • Draft documents and reports, as required, related to the work of the RCOE
  • Draft timely responses to queries on recruitment, ensuring the highest level of client orientation
  • Support implementation of key initiatives related to recruitment and any activities in the RCOE, as needed

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A university degree in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology or another related field is required
  • Two years of professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required. Experience in talent acquisition is highly desired.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are required.
  • Good ability to communicate effectively, tailoring language, tone, style and format to match the audience.
  • Good ability to identify issues, conduct rigorous research, and make conclusions and recommendations. Experience in market research of recruitment tools is advantageous
  • Fluency in English is required. Excellent writing skills in English are required.
  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
