You have:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Accounting/Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and six years of professional HR experience is required.
- Experience with International Financial Institutions (IFIs) or other International Organizations (IOs) would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing high volume of HR transactions of complex allowances and benefits policies, pension and insurance management, and other HR services.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to interact with staff at all levels internally and externally; and with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities and to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Ability to mentor and coach, specifically, to be able to supervise and plan the responsibilities of the assigned team, with oversight from supervisor.
- Strong persistence, efficient and timely in handling multiple tasks; ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines; perseverance when faced with difficult problems or challenges, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent customer service and verbally and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office is a must. Knowledge of Workday, ServiceNow, and PeopleSoft would be an advantage.

Typically reports to: Section Chief/ HR Specialists, HR Service Center, HR Operations Division
Under the general supervision of the Division Chief/Deputy Division Chief/Section Chief in HR Operations, the selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of assignments related to the implementation of changes to HR policies/programs and the oversight of daily HR Service Center operations.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day administration of various HR services with a focus on timely and accurate delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Providing guidance to HR Service Center agents, ensuring team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, instilling proper controls, and developing a culture of strong customer service and accountability.
- In coordination with other Officers in Tier 2, overseeing the escalation process related to employees enquiries and guiding HR Service Center agents on appropriate channels to be followed within HR Operations or with Centers of Expertise (COEs) when they are unable to resolve customer enquiries.
- Ensuring that HR Service Center agents stay abreast of specialized knowledge and skills related to the service areas they cover, coordinating with others to providing necessary documentation, training, guidance, and coaching.
- In coordination with other Officers in Tier 2, as needed, interpreting benefits policies and recommending action on requests arising from exceptional circumstances and collaborating with COEs as appropriate. Approving routine benefits requests based on precedents and policies, authorizing payments, and resolving problems.
- Ensuring, in collaboration with others, that a centralized knowledge and precedent library on HR Services is maintained to facilitate consistent, timely, and accurate administration of services.
- Coordinating knowledge transfer between the HR Service Center and the COEs, ensuring HR Service Center agents are aware of policy/program changes and are equipped to answer customer questions.
- Overseeing the planning, logistics and delivery of client-facing events (e.g., open houses), ensuring internal requirements and customer expectations are met.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

This is a one-year contractual position. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability and continuous business need.
