- Knowledge and demonstrated experience of Adaptive Insights is highly desirable.

Under the general supervision of Deputy Division Chief in HRD (HCM Cloud Support & Reporting), the Human Resources Officer (HCM) is responsible for supporting proper and efficient functioning of Human Capital Management (HCM) applications by providing technical solutions that meet business needs, comply with controls, and are user-friendly. They must be able to act as subject matter expert on HCM platforms and support the business through the entire lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment to production. They will need to work in close collaboration with different departments, such as Information Technology Department (ITD), among others and ensure that HCM platforms are properly integrated with different upstream and downstream systems.
This position requires strong Workday experience.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as the functional and technical point of contact for HR business subject matter experts, HR administrators and IT contacts for Workday, Adaptive Insights and HR issues. Supervises the work of technical resources to address end-user support cases as assigned. Assists with troubleshooting and resolving production support issues and resolves defects in a timely manner and with exceptional customer service.
- Configures system fixes/enhancements in Workday production (Including Adaptive Insights). Follows established processes for managing ongoing support tickets. Maintains system stability and resolves high impact issues.
- Supports, formulates, and implements the overall Workday Reporting Strategy. Oversees and defines reporting best practices, and maps technology capabilities to business requirements.
- Architects, builds, maintains, and monitors integrations with third party vendors and internal systems. Evaluates, proposes, and improves existing processes to maximize productivity and identifies and resolves issues with current architecture and integrations. Advises on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems. Loads, manipulates, audits, reports on data and makes complex mass changes, as needed, including building inbound and outbound EIBs.
- Performs security administration functions in Workday. Manages security assignments, confidentiality and data integrity by ensuring appropriate access and restrictions. Defines, supports and maintains processes for granting security within Workday; this includes role definitions, process for assignments, recertification of access and role maintenance.
- Enforces service management requirements related to documentation of Workday-related configuration or data integration changes along with other required artifacts in alignment with IT change management policies.
- Serves as a partner across finance, HR, technology, and other key stakeholders to document, test, and remediate compliance related matters.
- Manages and facilitates internal and external audit activities. Responds to audit findings and provides needed artifacts as requested by auditors.
- Assists in creating roadmaps for new feature releases, including maintenance of development environments. Manages testing and documentation for weekly and semi-annual upgrades and enhancements/initiatives and reporting; utilizes Workday Community to research and network with other users to brainstorm system solutions.
- Gathers requirements from multiple Fund stakeholder groups (e.g. departments, external vendors, etc.), translating business needs into system design and ensuring that system configuration aligns with Fund controls and policies. Coordinates with Functional Administrators to prioritize enhancements.
- Develops data policy and governance, crafting meaningful, compliant HCM processes and communications materials to be used to promote data consistency and integrity.
- Facilitates user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, coordinating and communicating with project teams, and validating and documenting results.
- Delivers regular and ad-hoc reports on system utilization and user adoption in the form of dashboards, summaries, and trends, etc. to business leadership, as needed
- Supports development and delivery of Workday end-user training, accurately and effectively distilling complex technological concepts to promote user adoption and understanding.

Minimum Qualifications

Specialized Skills/ Knowledge
Additionally, below competencies are required for this role:
- Business process configuration knowledge, including complex requirements such as rule-based bps, condition rules, validations, etc.
- Technical experience in implementing Workday Integrations of all types (Workday EIB, Studio, Core Connector, Cloud Connector). Ability to design and maintain inbound/outbound EIB integrations.
- HR Workday reporting experience (Discovery boards, Report writer, Worksheets, Dashboards)
- Workday security administration knowledge, including tenant setup security, different types of security groups, including more complex security configuration such as intersection and segmented security groups.
- Ability to create simple, advanced and matrix reports and to troubleshoot custom reports, including data source and access issues.

This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability and continuous business need.
