Job Highlight:

Reporting to the US HR Director, you will support the day-to-day operations of aligning organizational objectives with employee engagement and management. You will work in areas relating to employee relations, onboarding, performance management, policies, processes, administration, and learning and development. You will coordinate meetings, being the go-to-person for information around organization development and responding to queries from current staff. You will gain a breadth of experience and have a birds-eye view of all areas in the human resources function.

You will play a key role in shaping WRI’s culture by co-managing:

  • The virtual suggestions box
  • Exit interview surveys. Highlighting key elements of staff feedback that can be incorporated in future HR policies, processes and training.

This will enable us to achieve the lasting culture change that we seek across our organization, to help drive retention, and create long-term, sustainable results.

What will you do:

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for support when employees seek HR advice and guidance
  • Provide information on HR policy and interpretation
  • Assist with the performance management and employee feedback process by providing performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Work with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, and retention
  • Other employee relations duties as assigned

HR Administration:

  • Define, collect, analyze, and present data to support project goals and initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams and subject manager experts to drive the design, development, and implementation of learning tools
  • Assist with employee talent management process (merit process, promotions, performance management, training, compensation & equity, etc.)
  • Other Human Resources Generalist duties as assigned

Talent Development and Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain organizational communications such as internal bulletin boards communication channels, and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources
  • Train and coach managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts
  • Support the ongoing implementation of the US onboarding program
  • Partner with COEs to assess, support the design, development, and implementation of US leadership trainings and other trainings and initiatives
  • Create engagement initiatives; Co-design and lead (virtual and in-person) teambuilding workshops with US teams

What will you need:

  • Education: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience: You have a minimum of 7 years of related work experience
  • Strong project management and execution skills with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills to present complex information in a simple, clear, and concise manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skill
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to work with teams of individuals and colleagues at all levels inside and outside the organization in our dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Languages: Full fluency in English required
  • Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization

Potential Salary: Salary range is between 84,000 and 92,000 USD. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
