Job Purpose
Reporting to the Recruiter, the HR Assistant assists in carrying out recruitment activities and administrative work in preparing and updating documents for delivering HR recruitment services, in line with the ICRC’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to the Recruiter, from vacancy advertisements to hiring.
- Provides general secretarial and administrative support in the different HR activities (updating staff files and contracts, handling correspondence, etc.)
- Provides administrative follow-up for recruitment
- Keeps staff records updated, accurate and complete
- Carries out procedures related to local HR practices
Selection Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or other related studies
- At least 2 years work experience in HR, preferably in recruitment
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent computer skills especially in MS Office applications, including MS Excel, Word & PPT
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Capacity to employ applicable rules and procedures
- Capacity of treating information confidentially
