HRMOS - Social Security Analyst

We are seeking to fill a position of Jr. Consultant - Social Security Analyst based in the Social Security Branch (HRMOS) at our Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

The position is based in HRMOS Social Security Branch. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Head of the Social Security Branch.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

To deliver professional, client-focused Social Security services, partnering with managers implementing HR solutions in line with WFP corporate priorities. Under the supervision of the Head, HRMOS the incumbent will deliver a range of tasks, to ensure proper systems are in place for social security benefits management, monitoring and data analysis. Expected innovative approach and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong partnership and customer-oriented skills. The Consultant will operate with minimal supervision and ensure timely implementation of systems governing social security benefits management.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Contribute to the creation/update of various guidelines/workflows/processes on social security matters, updates of the HRMOS page on WFPgo
  2. Overview of the UNJSPF Monthly Financial interface and data transmission
  3. Oversee the implementation of the Digital Certificate of Entitlement Application for separating staff and assistance to retirees
  4. Perform Business Intelligence (BI) HR Interface data analysis, including data verification and correction
  5. Create a new event in Cority managing Reasonable Accommodation requests under the Advisory Committee on Compensation Claims (ACCC)
  6. Update and create new reports/dashboards in Cority on Staff Compensation plan and Reasonable Accommodation
  7. Create Reasonable Accommodation workflows and tools / tracking system / case reporting and reference material for the ACCC
  8. Implement an integration between Cority Safety module and SIMSAS reporting

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education:

Advanced university degree in Human Resources Management, Public or Business Administration or another relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience or training/courses

Experience:

Minimum one year of postgraduate professional experience in data analysis, systems and reports creation. Additional relevant knowledge of Cority, UNJSPF systems, WINGS would be an asset.

  • Knowledge of HR best practices, techniques and processes

    • Strong analytical ability to compile, maintain and analyze data, prepare reports and draw initial conclusions in support of work carried out by another officer, skills in developing sources for data collection and basic programming
    • Good communication and partnership skills
    • Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly assimilate UN/WFP specific processes and systems
    • Ability to review and mange confidential data

    • Experience in data analysis and extraction

    • Knowledge of corporate systems
    • Expereince in social security related matters

    Languages:

    Fluency (level C) in English language and level C of a second official UN language preferably French or Spanish.
