Under guidance and supervision of the Knowledge Management and Communication Analyst, and working closely with the Partnerships and Communications Specialist, the online volunteers will be supporting the implementation of the KM and communications work plan for 2024 pertaining to the data mapping, migration, and data integrity in Salesforce CRM.

The task at hand is to deliver support to ensure high-quality data in our business systems and develop processes necessary to deliver clean data to UNCDF teams. In particular, the candidate will be required to compile, clean, and audit data from internal and external sources, our organization relies on Salesforce to manage our interactions with partners and to strategize our operations.

We are looking for two online volunteers experienced Salesforce data who can assist us in optimizing our data handling processes within Salesforce. The focus will be on data mapping, migration, ensuring data integrity, and creating insightful reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making among our team members. The volunteers will assist directly with the cleanup of Salesforce records to maximize efficiency. The selected volunteers will receive the support of the KM and Communications Analyst and the Communications Specialist.

Candidates should have experience in CRM systems (Salesforce), data management, excellent communication and strong copywriting skills, strong organizational and planning skills. A degree in communications or a related field is considered an asset.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Should be a self-starter who is curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative Experience in the Salesforce.com platform as admin or power user. Back-end Salesforce development experience (e.g. Apex coding and admin experience) as well as familiarity with the NonProfit Success Pack (NPSP) highly preferred. Experience in manipulating large data sets for analysis and interpretation.
