The North West and South West Regions of Cameroon have been in an armed conflict since 2017. The military of the Republic of Cameroon has been fighting with a multiplicity of Non State Armed Groups (NSAG) from Southern Cameroon that calls itself the Ambazonian Restoration Forces. The NSAGs control a good number of rural communities and benefits from huge solidarity and support from the local population. The non-state armed forces imposed a boycott of institutions of the republic of Cameroon resulting in the closure of many rural schools and health facilities. In respond to the increasing control of rural communities by the NSAGs government created military barracks in communities where the army did not have any presence before the outbreak of hostilities. Conflict related sexual violence from these opposing camps has resulted to a growing number of pregnancies and delivery of children fathered by belligerent forces. The mothers have been systematically abused within their communities especially by individuals who have themselves been targeted either by the military of the non-states armed groups. The displacement created by the armed conflict continue to be a major driver to conflict induced sex and labour trafficking within Cameroon and internationally. In respond, GLOWA is providing rehabilitation services to both victims of sexual violence who have become single mothers as a result and victims of trafficking. We are solicited the help of online volunteers to develop micro fundable project to support the sustainable healing and reintegration of our program participants

GLOWA needs the help of 2 online volunteers to help design fundable project for the rehabilitation of program participants at one stop facility. Online volunteer shall equally help with researching potential donors to the proposal they develop.

Online Volunteers must not be requested to make donations in-kind or financial contributions or to solicit donations from third parties

We are looking to motivated individuals who are passionate for gender equality and protection of children. Individual should have adequate knowledge in resource mobilization particularly project proposal design. Volunteers should equally understand online research for donor and be able to employ other means to mobilize resources to meet the diverse needs of program participants at GLOWAHaus
