GLOWA implements programs in mental health, gender justice, youth and women’s empowerment, and legal advocacy. Accurate, well-structured, and SEO-optimized content is critical to improve the organization’s online visibility, attract supporters, and communicate the impact of its programs. This assignment ensures that the redesigned website effectively tells GLOWA’s story and reaches a wider audience.

Global Welfare Association (GLOWA), a women-led grassroots NGO in Cameroon, seeks an Online Volunteer to edit and optimize website content for clarity, professionalism, and search engine visibility. The volunteer will work under the guidance of the Volunteer Team Lead and in collaboration with the UI/UX designer and WordPress setup volunteer to ensure content aligns with the redesigned website and GLOWA’s mission. Tasks / Responsibilities: • Edit existing website content for clarity, style, and tone • Optimize content for search engines using keywords, meta descriptions, and headings • Ensure content aligns with GLOWA’s mission and branding • Collaborate with the Team Lead, designer, and WordPress volunteer • Suggest improvements for readability and engagement Deliverables: • Edited and polished website content • SEO-optimized page titles, headings, and meta descriptions • Recommendations for ongoing content improvements
