Public Health Aid Awareness and Education (PHAAE) is a not-for-profit organization based in Nigeria, established to promote sustainable community development initiatives and address critical issues affecting the quality of life of communities. PHAAE’s work focuses on key areas including water and nutrition, sanitation and hygiene, and women’s rights.

To continue advancing its mission and strengthen its visibility, PHAAE seeks to expand its partnerships, community outreach activities, and donor base, particularly among potential donors in the United Kingdom. Achieving this requires strong, consistent, and professional communication materials that clearly showcase the organization’s ongoing projects, impact, and outcomes.

In this context, PHAAE is seeking the support of ten (10) Online Volunteers with experience in graphic design, logo design, and digital illustration to support communication efforts across all social media platforms for PHAAE and its brain child, Laux Health Consulting. The volunteers will collaborate with subject experts to develop high-quality visual content, including posters and infographics, for use on PHAAE’s social media accounts, website, and blog.

This assignment will strengthen PHAAE’s communication and dissemination activities for donor outreach and partnerships. The increased visibility and professional presentation of PHAAE’s work are expected to support donor engagement and grant acquisition, enabling the organization to continue and scale its projects in water, sanitation and hygiene, and other priority areas. Ultimately, the outcomes of this collaboration will contribute to delivering sustainable, community-driven solutions tailored to the needs of Nigerian communities.

Support to PHAAE’s Digital Communication and Visual Content Development for Donor Outreach

Background Public Health Aid Awareness and Education (PHAAE) is a not-for-profit organization based in Nigeria, established to promote sustainable community development and improve the quality of life of underserved communities. PHAAE works in the areas of water and nutrition, sanitation and hygiene, and women’s rights, with a strong focus on empowering women and girls to live healthy and dignified lives.

To strengthen its visibility, community outreach, and donor engagement, particularly among potential donors in the United Kingdom, PHAAE requires consistent, high-quality visual communication materials that clearly present its projects, outcomes, and impact. These materials are essential for supporting partnership development, donor communication, and grant-seeking efforts.

Assignment Description PHAAE seeks the support of ten (10) Online Volunteers to assist with the development of visual communication materials for its digital outreach activities. The assignment is task-based and focused on producing specific graphic design outputs to support PHAAE and its social enterprise, Laux Health Consulting.

Online Volunteers will collaborate with PHAAE’s program and communications team to design digital content that translates technical information into clear, engaging visuals suitable for donor and public audiences.

The assignment requires the production of a high volume of visual materials across multiple platforms over a defined period. To meet timelines and ensure consistency, volunteers will be grouped and assigned to specific platforms and deliverables. Each volunteer will handle a limited, clearly defined workload, making the engagement manageable and focused.

Tasks and Deliverables Online Volunteers will support the following tasks:

• Design a total of approximately 120 visual assets over three months, including posters, social media graphics, and infographics • Produce an average of 4 visual designs per volunteer per month • Develop content tailored to specific platforms: Instagram: posters and carousel infographics Facebook: posters and awareness graphics LinkedIn: professional infographics and project highlights X (formerly Twitter): simplified graphics and campaign visuals TIk tok, Youtube ; videos • Adapt designs to align with PHAAE’s branding and messaging guidelines • Revise designs based on feedback from the PHAAE team

Time Commitment Each volunteer is expected to contribute approximately 3–5 hours per week. Deliverables will be submitted on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on the assigned platform and content schedule.

Expected Outcomes This assignment will strengthen PHAAE’s communication and dissemination capacity by improving the quality and consistency of its visual content. Enhanced digital presence and clearer presentation of program impact are expected to support donor engagement, partnership development, and grant acquisition. Ultimately, this support will contribute to the continuation and scaling of PHAAE’s interventions in water, sanitation and hygiene, nutrition, and women’s empowerment across Nigerian communities
