You have:

  • Professional graphic designer with previous experience in designing layouts, graphic messages, and artwork.
  • In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.

We are looking for a creative, motivated and talented online volunteer to assist us in our online back-to-school social media campaign. The main components of this task are as follows: 1. Design an attractive template into which pre-developed social media messages in English can be added. The template will be used by UNICEF and ministry partners for all back-to-school messages across multiple social media platforms. 2. Develop a similar template for messages in Arabic (the volunteer will receive the Arabic text from a translator) 3. Produce a minimum of 15 static images (to potentially including tables, graphs, etc) for the back-to-school social media campaign. These must be both in English and Arabic.

    UNICEF is supporting the Government of Oman in developing a back-to-school social media campaign to support and encourage students (Grades 1-12) and their families as they start the new academic year in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak. The campaign will touch on topics including cyberbullying, mental health and physical safety, remote and blended learning, inclusion of all students facing different kinds of difficulties.

  • 6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks

    Candidates should be professional graphic designers with previous experience in designing layouts, graphic messages and artwork, have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
