MDF is concerned about the development of the community. Food is a very important commodity for the residents. Through this project, we hope to clarify the factors affecting the food crisis for the reference of the local administration.

This project aims to explore the various elements that impact the success and reception of these initiatives. This research is particularly timely and vital, considering the increasing challenges posed by global food insecurity and the essential role food aid plays in mitigating these issues. The objective is to develop a comprehensive research proposal that delves into the multifaceted aspects of food aid programs, including policy frameworks, implementation strategies, and feedback from the communities served. This assignment aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG 2): Zero Hunger. This proposal will contribute to a deeper understanding of how food aid can be optimized to better serve those in need.

To that end, we are seeking support from Online Volunteers who have expertise in research especially in food security and aid.

We are seeking three Online Volunteers, each with a specific focus area:

  1. Policy and Programme Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of existing food assistance policies and programs, identifying key factors that influence their design and implementation. This volunteer will also assess the alignment of these programs with international guidelines and standards.

  2. Field Data and Case Study: Gather and analyse field data and case studies on the effectiveness and societal impact of online food aid programs. The task includes identifying success stories, challenges faced, and feedback from beneficiaries.

  3. Research Proposal Writing: On the basis of the above volunteers' results, this role needs to synthesise the research and analyses conducted by the team into a cohesive and comprehensive research proposal. This volunteer will ensure that the proposal is well-structured and clearly written, and it presents a compelling argument for further research into food aid programs.
