This assignment would involve remote translation of English to Turkish. We are coordinating the localization of a smartphone app developed by the UN World Food Programme called “ShareTheMeal” (https://sharethemeal.org/) from English into Turkish. This assignment is fully remote, and involves assisting with translations 1-5 hours per week.

We are coordinating the localisation of a smartphone app developed by the UN World Food Programme called “ShareTheMeal” (https://sharethemeal.org/) into Turkish. ShareTheMeal is an app from the World Food Programme that enables people to "share their meals" with children in need. Because most texts are short, translations can mostly be entered into e-mail, Word docs or Excel sheets. We are looking to partner with someone who would be willing to work with us for 12 weeks. Each translation assignment goes out on Friday, and we would need it back by Monday. Therefore, this task requires weekend contribution. Each translation assignment varies in length, but averages about 500 words. Additionally, we sometimes ask our translators to proofread older translations to ensure accuracy. We are greatly excited about our achievements and future campaigns in which we attempt to fight child hunger all over the world. Shortlisted candidates may be asked to translate a short paragraph as part of the selection process.
