English to Dutch translation of a FGM/C-focused glossary

This Dutch glossary will serve as the linguistic basis for the future translation of The Law and FGM in the Netherlands/ in Belgium reports, coming out shortly. 28 Too Many received the Trustlaw's Collaboration Award in 2018 and the Best Collaboration Initiative Award at the Lawyermag Awards in 2019 for the unprecedented series of The Law and FGM reports across Africa. 28 Too Many have just launched the European series of The Law and FGM reports.
Translate or proof read our English glossary (which includes about 300 words, terms or acronyms, all related to female genital mutilation / cutting, criminal law terminology, international conventions or sustainable development goals) into Dutch. Between 2 and 3 volunteers will be selected and will be given access to our Google Sheet document. Coordination will be managed by 28 Too Many, direct communication will take place via email (please check your junk inbox). One week will be given to each volunteer.
Dutch proficiency at native-speaker level, fluent in English. Experience in translation from English to Dutch is essential and at least one of the following areas of expertise is preferred: Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C), Women’s Health and/or Gender, or Human Rights. Knowledge and understanding of legal terminology will be a deciding factor, especially criminal law. Please give details of previous work with application. Applicants may be asked to translate a short paragraph as part of the selection process.
