Editing and Translating website articles on torture prevention and human trafficking in Tunisia

The UNDP-Tunisia is looking for 2 volunteers to translate from Arabic to French, and from French to Arabic short website artciles on torture prevention and trafficking in human beings produced by the Tunisian national authorities on torture prevention (INPT) and trafficking in human beings (INLCTP). The volunteer would be asked to submit an edited, copyedited and proofread finalised document, ready to be shared with identified recipients.

Translation and interpretation
The program "Support to Tunisian authorities on torture prevention (INPT) and trafficking in human beings (INLCTP)" is jointly implemented by the UNDP and the OHCHR offices in Tunisia as part of a broader UN comprehensive strategy put in place in the wake of the 2011 Tunisian revolution to support national authorities in their will to consolidate the democratic transition and the rule of law. It aims at supporting the Tunisian authorities to fully operationalise the new institutions and laws that have been established to ensure populations' awareness of their rights and access to them.
Volunteers: 2 needed
1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks
The volunteer should be fluent in Arabic and French. S/he must have excellent writing skills and significant editing experience, preferably in international organisations or media. Knowledge of / past experience in / justice and human rights is an assest. Confidentiality required.
