IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies and meet organizational goals, including attracting, developing and deploying diverse and skilled talent.

Client Services – offers strategic HR partnership, program implementation, support and solutions to staff and management globally; • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – supports the organization to build a diverse workforce, embrace equity, and foster an inclusive workplace; • Employment Framework and Recruitment – develops and supports HR strategy, policies/procedures, communications, and knowledge management; drives HR initiatives, such as staff engagement and Board reporting; and delivers recruitment solutions; • Talent and Incentives – designs best practice HR solutions in onboarding, mentoring, career management and mobility, performance/talent management, incentives and awards, and leadership development.

IFC is seeking an Extended Term (ET) Consultant to be based in Washington, DC to manage data and analytics for a variety of key HR programs, including assessing business and staffing trends and translating them into HR solutions that will support an efficient and effective delivery model. The position will report to the Principal HR Officer, Employment Framework and Recruitment.

Duties and Accountabilities: • Proactively gather, analyze and interpret data and information and prepare relevant reports and presentations to strengthen HR’s support to IFC's business objectives, including contributing to change management and knowledge management efforts • Collaborate with other HR functional areas to incorporate multiple data streams to effectively analyze and communicate results and recommendations • Develop and enhance tools and resources to support the efficient and effective implementation of various HR initiatives, such as instructional guides, process maps, data visualizations and knowledge products • Contribute to streamlining and automation of HR processes through digital transformation initiatives • Proactively monitor internal and external human capital trends and identify gaps and improvement possibilities for various HR programs and processes in alignment with IFC’s people strategy and related KPIs • Act as a subject matter expert in HR programs, processes, and systems and provide quality assurance, training, onboarding, and coaching to team members to ensure a consistently high quality of delivery • Continuously monitor delivery and impact of HR programs, including designing, implementing and analyzing surveys, scorecards and other measurement tools • Liaise with vendors as required • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Selection Criteria

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, Statistics or related field and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global company or organization; or Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience • Proven experience in HR analytics, including demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis, data mining, and report generation; good narrative grasp of ‘the story behind the numbers’, and ability to articulate issues and recommend solutions to aid management in decision-making • Strong knowledge of HR information systems, tools, and processes • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau • Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills in English, ability to translate complex data for a variety of audiences, and experience preparing client-ready materials • Strong quality control and client-service orientation and attention to detail • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting work priorities and demands and tight deadlines • High level of integrity, tact and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information
