You have:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Communications, or related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent and Formal Change Management training, such as ProSci.
  • Experience in digital HR Process Optimization, PMO, Project Management, Change Management or similar is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in HR/talent management practices, especially employee engagement practices and approaches including measuring employee engagement via surveys and driving engagement via action management.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills in English, ability to translate complex data for various audiences, including designing effective and engaging presentations and writing reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including working effectively in a virtual and multicultural team-based environment.

BACKGROUND AND UNIT SUMMARY WBG Human Resources team is focused on delivering high value HR services to drive organizational performance and help make the WBG the employer of choice in development.

The Talent and Career Development Center of Expertise is responsible for providing integrated frameworks for performance management, conducting talent reviews, creating listening mechanisms to capture employee experience, mobilizing staff to required roles, enabling succession management to identify, develop and deploy leaders and providing career resources and advice to clarify roles and expectations at each level.

The work program requires in-depth expertise in the areas of HR digital transformation, change management, HR communications, talent management, as well as strong client relationship management and teamwork.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Technology is an integral pillar of Future of HR, to streamline processes to unlock HR & client capacities, personalize engagements for better employee experiences, and enable data-driven talent management to achieve the WBG goals. One of the ongoing initiatives is the introduction Career Development Platform, a cloud-based AI-powered skills and talent management solution in support of career development.

The selected ETC will provide communications and change management in support of the design, configuration and roll-out of the Career Development Platform. The ETC will report to the Manager, Talent and Career Development and work closely with the team responsible for the design and delivery of the platform.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Communications and Change Management The Consultant will assume responsibilities to support the delivery of key communications and change management initiatives as part of the Career Development Platform.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

• Work closely with the project team to design, implement and facilitate change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions of the ongoing HR transformation projects. • Develop and provide the necessary communication and training resources to all stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of the Platform. • Develop presentations, reports and/or documents (including infographics, information sheets) that support engagement with staff and managers, and decision-making. • Lead focus groups, interviews, facilitate discovery sessions, review/present project findings, conduct working sessions as part of project engagements.

Implementation of Career Development Platform • Work with the PMO to develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resourcing, and capacity, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of milestones. • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, configure, test, and implement the configuration requirements. • Participate in ad hoc tasks as needed to support the project and team.

Selection Criteria

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Communications, or related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent and Formal Change Management training, such as ProSci. • Experience in digital HR Process Optimization, PMO, Project Management, Change Management or similar is highly desirable. • Proven expertise in HR/talent management practices, especially employee engagement practices and approaches including measuring employee engagement via surveys and driving engagement via action management. • Excellent change management experience and ability to build relationships, conduct focus groups and collaborate effectively across diverse client groups and the Human Resources Department colleagues. • Excellent analytical skills: ability to provide reports, analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide data-driven recommendations. • High-level of proficiency in problem solving, critical thinking, analyzing complex situations, and absorbing considerable amounts of data to identify key themes and identify actionable insights that lead to effective solutions and recommendations. • Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills in English, ability to translate complex data for various audiences, including designing effective and engaging presentations and writing reports. • Self-starter, good at generating ideas from self and others, and figuring out practical ways to implement and put them into practice and engage others in the task/project. • Highly motivated team player, able to collaborate with others effectively and share knowledge.
