Background / General description: The Career Development and Talent Mobility Center of Expertise (HRDCM) of the World Bank Group leads the design and implementation of the career development, mobility, and talent management frameworks, along with the products and services to effectively support career development at all levels across the WBG.

Duties and Accountabilities: The position will assume a wide range of research, communication, and analytical responsibilities - working closely with the Manager and team to support the delivery of the career development and mobility agenda. The position will play a crucial role in coordinating initiatives across the unit and HRDCL to ensure strategic and corporate alignment, sequencing, and coherence on key HRD career deliverables.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Communications Support and Change Management

• Support all communications and change management efforts for all Talent and Career Development Platforms • Preparation of infographics, information sheets, slide decks, and other relevant materials for engagements with staff and managers

Analytics and Research

• Prepare all quarterly data analytics on career services feedback and evaluations • Prepare accurate and robust data and metrics as part of the program design and implementation, as well as monitoring any trends. • Carry out qualitative and quantitative research on various topics. This includes analysis, presentation and tailoring of insights based on the specific request and the context and needs of the organization.

Coordination and Project Management

• Track, monitor, help implement and evaluate the team's project plans in support of achieving the objectives of career development, mobilization, and deployment of staff. • Coordinate and participate in different aspects of talent development work programs, initiatives, and deliverables (communications, design, systems, and tools). Liaise with key stakeholders, draft proposals, and relevant design materials, conduct research, and support in implementing the HRDCM solutions (e.g., talent review, performance management, mobility, and products/services), engagement and communications plan.

Selection Criteria

Master's degree in international development, human resources, business administration, communications or related field is a plus and 2 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Excellent demonstrated organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis; able to articulate issues and recommend solutions to aid management in decision-making • Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills, ability to translate complex data for a variety of audiences, and experience with preparing client-ready materials • Ability to build strong working relationships with counterparts across HRD and the World Bank Group. • Ability to diplomatically handle sensitive situations with target audiences and to cultivate effective, productive client relationships and partnerships. • Demonstrates professional integrity, willingness, and flexibility to 'roll-up your sleeves' to engage in all aspects of HR work from identification and design to implementation • Ability to work effectively under stress; ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks within tight deadlines. • Self-starter, multi-tasker and demonstrated team player.
