Provide safe and timely transportation services and support for OHCHR activities.
You have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's licence.
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional driving experience.
- Experience working with the United Nations, an international organization, diplomatic mission or NGO is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of the road network throughout Tunisia.
- Experience in defensive driving and transporting senior officials is an asset.
- Fluency in Arabic and French, both oral and written, is required.
- Working knowledge of English is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook and Word).
- Ability to use GPS and navigation applications.
- Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.

-Safe and timely transportation services provided throughout the contract period. -Official vehicles maintained in good operational condition. -Vehicle logbooks, mileage and fuel consumption records completed accurately. -Timely reporting of maintenance needs and coordination of servicing. -Efficient logistical support provided to OHCHR activities, meetings and field missions. -Compliance with all applicable United Nations safety and security procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Representative in Tunisia or her designated supervisor, the Driver shall: - Provide safe and reliable transportation for OHCHR Representative, staff members, consultants and experts on mission. -Drive official vehicles for missions within Tunis and throughout Tunisia. -Meet official visitors at airports and facilitate transportation arrangements. -Ensure strict compliance with United Nations road safety and security procedures. -Maintain the assigned vehicles in clean and good operating condition. -Carry out routine vehicle inspections, including checking oil, coolant, brake fluid, tyres, battery and general mechanical condition. -Arrange for routine servicing and report any mechanical defects promptly. -Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel consumption records and maintenance records. -Deliver and collect official mail, documents and small equipment. -Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, conferences and field missions. -Ensure that vehicle registration, insurance and inspection documents remain valid. -Maintain confidentiality regarding all official information acquired during the course of duty. -Perform any other related duties assigned by the Representative or designated supervisor.
Qualifications/special skills

-Comply with all United Nations regulations, rules and security procedures. - Maintain a valid driving licence throughout the duration of the contract. -Working hours may require flexibility depending on operational needs, including occasional travel outside Tunis. -Observe the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality while performing the assignment.
