Result of Service 1. Develop a Microsoft Office 365 Power App per the scope and structure of the tool given below in Annex (by end of December 2022) 2. Deliver 2 few-hours trainings (same training delivered twice) for the prime users of the tool (all UN staff who will be uploading events in the tool) (December 2022) 3. Duties and Responsibilities Background

The United Nations in North Macedonia works to improve the lives and livelihoods of all its inhabitants by supporting the country in implementing the Sustainable Development Agenda with the latest specialized expertise and evidence-based actions. The work of the UN in the country is reflected in the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF), which implementation is operationalized with the Joint Annual Workplans. In addition to the activities that the UN system will undertake throughout the year, the Joint Workplan also contains set of indicators to measure the progress on annual and cycle basis. SDCF implementation among others include technical support, expert support, monitoring and evaluation and capacity building. Hence, number of output indicators in the Results framework are dedicated to measuring UN support to capacity building results. So far, data for measuring these indicators is being collected manually. To enhance the efficiency of the process and improve the reliability of the data, the UN Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Group, on behalf of the UNCT, is developing an online tool (Power App) to automate the process of data collection and enable real-time visualization of the indicators’ measurement.

Qualifications/special skills BSc in Computer Science or Programming is required. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in designing and development of Office 365 and SharePoint products is required. Reference of at least 2 previous projects of similar complexity is required. Experience in working for governmental or international organizations is desired.

Languages Fluency in English is required.

Additional Information Scope and structure of the Power App

Objective: - Coherent collection of data on UN capacity building activities - Easy and fast tracking and simplified analysis - Professional service to the partners whose capacities were built - Facilitate follow up with the trainees (sending follow up surveys, information sharing, new materials on the topics, etc). Languages: - The first, third and fourth module in English - Second module in English, Macedonian and Albanian (text for all three languages will be provided by UN) Timeline: - Development: November –December 2022 - Testing and trainings for UN staff: End-December 2022 Structure of the tool: - Landing page (in English): o UN Logo and title of the tool, with few words of description of what the tool is about at the top of the page o “Create new event” button at the top-half of the page o Calendar or list of upcoming events at the bottom half of the page o List of all logos of the UN entities at the very bottom of the page

o Note: When an event is opened from the calendar, the owner should be able to edit the information in that specific event

- Module 1: Event scheduling module (Any UN staff member who has a UN or UN entity email address registered into the UN active directory should be able to create an event including non-UN Secretariat staff with UN entity email addresses, if they own Office 365 package. These will be “prime users” of the tool). Once “create new event” is selected from the landing page, new page opens, with the following fields, all designed into a single screen: o UN Entity/ies logo/s (automated, when the entity is selected the logo pops up) o Host entity (UN entity or UN entities – mandatory field - drop down list, possibility to choose one or more entities) o Title of the event (mandatory– text field) o Dates of the event (Mandatory – text field) o Is the event delivered in multiple sessions as series of trainings: Yes/No question ¿ If yes, list the dates of all sessions (multiple choice question calendar-type) o Location – city and venue (mandatory - 2 text fields, but with an option for in-person events, to select the location of the venue on a map and display address) o Type of event (drop down list – conference, training, meeting) o Brief background (mandatory - text field – multiple lines – up to 500 words) o Agenda (optional attachment field - if the agenda is available) o Background documents (optional, attachment field) o Dedicated event website (if any, optional field) o Partnering UN entities (optional field, drop down menu, multiple choice from the same list of entities as in the field “Host”) o Partnering Government entities (optional – drop down menu, multiple choice) o Other partners (optional, text field) o Relevant SDCF Outcome (mandatory - drop down menu of 4 outcomes, multiple choice) o Relevant Outputs - Selected Outcome opens new field (mandatory – drop-down menu of 4 or 5 outputs, depending on the selected outcome) o Topics (mandatory drop-down menu, multiple choice) o “Review and Publish” buttons o “Share” options (once published)

- Module 2: Registration of participants The following fields are written in all three languages – English, Macedonian and Albanian: o Name and Surname (mandatory, text field) o Title (mandatory, text field) o Institutions (Mandatory, text field or dropdown menu – tbc) o Type of institution (mandatory, drop-down menu) o Email (mandatory – email field) o Phone (optional, phone field) o Gender (mandatory, drop-down menu, single choice) o If multi-session event – Which sessions you will attend (mandatory – multiple choice field, with the dates listed in the module 1 question) o GDPR text and tick-a-box consent statement for storage and analysis of provided data o Thank you message on new page after registration with generic for all events, but UN drafted message in all three languages *** o Attendance verification (instead of paper-form signature): At the date of the event the event host should be able to confirm the attendance of the registered participants

o Note: this module should be opened to “anyone with the link” recipient.

- Module 3: Evaluation and follow-up surveys The event host may want to decide to follow up with the participants either to send them a follow up email or to share with them an evaluation form, either immediately after the event or in few months. Therefore: - The owner (the UN staff member who created the event) should be able to open the event and find three buttons: o Contact participants (opens in email with all participants in “TO” o Send survey to the participants (when selected, new form opens) ¿ The survey to the participants should be a “FORM” that the even host will be able to custom make o View the results of the survey: presented either in online format or possibility to extract in excel - When the survey is created, the link to the form should be shared with all participants at that particular event.

- Module 4: Power Bi dashboard o Dashboard with statistics of the events and the participants ¿ Page 1: totals and highlights - number of trainings organized - number of participants (male/female) - Topics of trainings - Host entities - Person with most trainings attended - Government partner with most trainings attended (presented as cumulative number of all staff participating at different trainings) - Other stats, to be decided later ¿ Page 2: SDCF output indicators (list of indicators to be provided additionally
