The assignment is in line with MDF current project supported by UNDP which is to build a resource centre at the Kamiali Wild Life Reserve Management Area. The reserve allows residents and visitors alike an opportunity to engage in village life and wildlife-related experiences and activities and conduct research.
To ensure that MDF's objective and vision to support community development projects and to improve indigenous livelihood in Papua New Guinea are achieved, MDF is seeking the support of online volunteers through this online assignment to provide support in designing the resource centre using bamboo and hardware materials. At the end of the assignment, the online volunteers will be rewarded with a certificate though the UNV portal and can be given a reference as well from the Foundation.
MDF requires the services of at least two online volunteers who are able to design an affordable building which will utilize the use of treated bamboos, canes and modern hardware building materials
The online volunteers will be tasked to provide a floor plan, side view, top view of a Eco Tourism Resort Centre. One volunteer will do the actual design while another volunteer will provide advice and recommendations.
