Scope of Work (SoW) Position Title: Consultant – Business Development & Partnership Department: Business Development & Partnership

1. Engagement Objective The Consultant will support the Business Development & Partnership team in identifying, managing, and pursuing strategic funding opportunities. The role will involve proposal development, donor engagement, research, documentation, and coordination support. The Consultant will contribute to strengthening the department’s capacity in resource mobilization and overall efficiency.

2. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables The Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end proposal development, maintaining a centralized document management system, tracking submission timelines, and ensuring proposal quality and timely delivery. Will conduct research to identify prospective donors and create detailed donor profiles. The Consultant will coordinate meetings and follow-ups with donors, maintain communication logs, and draft partner communications. The consultant will also assist in planning, organizing, and documenting events, workshops, and donor engagements. Additional responsibilities include submitting monthly progress reports and a work completion report.

3. Expected Outcomes The Consultant is expected to deliver high-quality proposals, increase the number of donor prospects, improve internal documentation and knowledge management, and streamline coordination and follow-up processes. Consultant’s contributions should enhance the department’s ability to attract funding and strengthen external partnerships over the contract period.

Deliverable Area: Documentation Repository Key Outputs: Updated repository of donor documents and templates Target (Annual): Monthly updates (12 total)

Deliverable Area: Donor/Market Research Key Outputs: Research briefs and donor profiles Target (Annual): 50 profiles and 3 landscape reports

Deliverable Area: Stakeholder Communication Logs Key Outputs: Meeting records, follow-up logs, memos Target (Annual): Bi-weekly updates (26 total)

Deliverable Area: Meeting/Event Coordination Key Outputs: Coordinated meetings and documented outcomes Target (Annual): Minimum 30 donor interactions

Deliverable Area: Event and Workshop Support Key Outputs: Planning, logistics, and event documentation Target (Annual): 3–5 major donor events/workshops
