Background/IRC Summary:

The IRC Yemen Country program has been established in 2012, and currently is implementing integrated Health, Nutrition, Environmental Health (WASH), Economic Recovery and Development, Women Protection and Empowerment and Education programming in eight governorates. The IRC operates with its Country Office in Sana’a and its main Field Office in Sana’a. Other subfield offices include Abyan, Hodeida and Al Dhale, with the Al Dhale office covering Lahaj, and the Abyan office covering activities in Shabwa. Job Overview/Summary: As a member of the Supply Chain team, the role of cleaner is to assist the other colleagues to keep the office and guest houses always clean and organized in close coordination with the facilities and maintenance assistant.

Major Responsibilities:

·Ensure that the office building or guest houses, rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms are clean, tidy, and well organized. • Collect and clean rubbish bins on a daily basis and deposit rubbish in designated areas. • Reports to the supervisor with the required items needed for the kitchen and the whole office on regular basis. • Ensure that office/Guesthouses stairs are clean. • Notify supervisor of any materials, repairs or other requirements may improve the cleaning. • Any other duties assigned by supervisor. Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Experience in similar position is preferable, of which previous INGO experience is desired. • Arabic language is expected for this position. • A good physical health is a desired.
