Job Description

The Caseworker, Afghan P2 Program is responsible for supporting the work of the Liaison Office for Afghan Staff, with a primary focus on processing Priority Two (P2) visa referrals to the US government on behalf of current and former eligible IRC staff. Success in this role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while escalating appropriate cases to the Operations Lead, Afghan P2 Program for review. The Caseworker may also be called upon to support other efforts undertaken by the Liaison Office, including participating in technology solution sessions, strategic discussions, goal setting, and regular review of various milestone attainment as set out in the roadmap over a several-month period.

Responsibilities

· Ensure accurate review and preparation of P2 referral packets for current and former IRC Afghan staff.

· Conduct HR file research, collaborate with the case management team and escalate complex cases to Operations Lead for review.

· Enter case information in Zendesk, the designated database for P2 application processing.

· Communicate with P2 referral applicants via Zendesk as directed.

· Provide regular feedback and inputs on overall process improvement to align with organizational goals or updated US Government guidelines.

Duration

Minimum one month with option to extend to two months.

This is a remote work assignment that will require participation in regular check in and ad hoc Teams meetings with the P2 team.
