MDF strenghtened and support community development projects and initiaves and for this project it aims to support a community-based project to ''Strengthening Integrated Sustainable Landscape Management in Enga Province, Papua New Guinea (Enga SISLaM). The project will involve remote sensing, GPS mapping and if possible enusre the use of drones to capture essentail data that will help in the mapping process. The volunteer will be guided and assisted by MDFs GIS experts and volunteers duirng the proposal write up.

MDF requires the service of a qualified and expereince volunteer to write and edit a proposal to address a ''Call for Proposals for small project grants to support community-based projects Strengthening Integrated Sustainable Landscape Management Project in Enga Province, Papua New Guinea (Enga SISLaM). The task will involve wiring and editing and remote sensing for landuse classification.

MDF requires the service of a GIS graduate who have essential experience in remote sensing and landuse anlaysis and classification and must be good in proposal writing and editing. The volunteer must be able to work with limited supervision to meet the deadline set by MDF.
